Scenes from Footprints at Brunch

Our Inaugural Big Hats & Bow Ties Brunch was a huge success!

Our guests looked lovely decked out in their big hats and bow ties. The theme was perfect for a beautiful Spring afternoon at Atlanta's Houston Mill House. We enjoyed a delicious brunch buffet with butler passed mimosas. Our three dynamic speakers shared their heartfelt journey of life after loss. Their transparency and sincere reflections of pain were very inspiring.

Our founder presented her mother with an angel gown memorializing her first born grandson, Colby. This was certainly one of the highlights of the afternoon as there was not a dry eye in the house. Simply beautiful!

As we shared more about the organization and some of the families who have been helped by our services, it became evident that having support is what leads to healing. All of our speakers emphasized the importance of having support throughout their journey. Being surrounded by friends, family, even strangers who genuinely care about the depth of your pain can bring healing. Ultimately that’s the mission of Healing Footprints… to facilitate successful grief outcomes by showering our families with loving support. Because love heals!

This was the first fundraising event for Healing Footprints. We are proud to announce that our 2017 Big Hats & Bow Ties Brunch raised $5,394. THANK YOU! Thank you to all of our friends, family and supporters near and far. We could not have done this without you. Because of you, we can further our footprint in the infant loss community and continue our mission to support grieving families.

Below are a few photos taken by LKP Studio. This year's event was an amazing expression of love and support. We look forward to more great things next year!
